Enthusiastic and acrobatic, American joins rank of PR ninjas in Aichi Prefecture
Video footage taken on June 4 at the Aichi Prefecture public hall in Nagoya shows a team of ninjas showing off their skills which will be put to use to attract tourists to the area traditionally associated with stealthy warriors. Among the six chosen members of the Tokugawa Ieyasu and Hattori Hanzo Ninja Corps is 26-year-old John Patrick Jandernoa, a Michigan native who has long been fascinated by ninja. Jandernoa is the second non-Japanese to join the corps since its creation in 2015.
