The old tradition of throwing mortarboards into the air at graduation ceremonies has been banned by one university over health and safety fears.

VOICED: The old tradition of throwing mortarboards into the air at graduation ceremonies has been banned by one university over health and safety fears. The University of East Anglia said it took the decision after a number of graduates were injured by the falling hats. Instead, students can pay to have them edited into their photographs. The Health and Safety Executive has condemned the move saying it's "over the top", as Laura Bundock reports.
