Snowdrop Ferry at Seacombe 1901
/ steam ferry coming in to dock, on a choppy sea, the word "Snowdrop" is on the back of the ferry / man on the harbour side steps forward to catch a rope thrown by a seaman on board, lower deck is full of passengers / ferry is tied up, passengers, mostly men and boys, mill about on deck, seaman on board unlatches a door in the side of the boat , gangplank is lowered from the dockside and all the passengers surge up it, One man appears to be carrying a set of golf clubs / passengers disembark / young man, one of the last to disembark, goes up the gangplank carrying a large basket and other packages on his back.
