Military parade held during Independence Day celebrations in Venezuela's Caracas

CARACAS, VENEZUELA - JULY 5, 2024: Soldiers marched in the Independence Day military parade in Caracas, Venezuela, on Friday (July 5).More than 15 thousand people, civilians and military, participated in Caracas in the parade for the 213th anniversary of Venezuela's independence. Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, attended the celebrations."Here we have heavy weapons. Aviation. Anti-aircraft defense. Missile rocketry for the medium and long term. We have our secret weapon: the people in arms. The Bolivarian National Militia and its four million combatants."
