This is a Reef Octopus (Octapus cyanea) aka Day Octopus, Cyane's Octopus or big blue Octopus. Unlike most Octopus, this species feeds by day. They are know for building safe places in which to hide. As seen here, the Octopus has surrounded itself with rocks in which it can camouflage itself, whilst awaiting its prey.
