A masked palm civet dangerously traversed power lines in Tokyo, Japan on Monday, August 5. Social videos show the animal, locally called 'hakubishin', nonchalantly crossing along overhead power lines, oblivious to the dangers of doing so. Civets are becoming a common sight in the city since a few years ago. They used to be found only in the mountainous areas surrounding the metropolis.28 sec video .
