New York Governor Hochul Makes a Transportation Infrastructure Announcement

NEW YORK, NEW YORK – MAY 29: Attendees stand with excavation shovels to commemorate the groundbreaking ceremony as New York Governor Kathy Hochul, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey ((PANYNJ) broke ground for the Dyer Avenue deck-overs in midtown Manhattan, representing the first step in the construction of the new Midtown Bus Terminal on May 29, 2025 in New York City. The deck-overs will aid in the construction of the new bus terminal and will serve as a staging area for buses during the construction phase. Ultimately, the deck-overs will be developed into 3.5 acres of new open green space available to the public after the new bus terminal's construction is concluded.
