Solar Panels Installed On Roof Of York Minster
YORK, ENGLAND - OCTOBER 31: An engineer from Associated Clean Technologies works to attach solar panels to the roof of York Minster on October 31, 2024 in York, England. The roof of York Minister is being equipped with 184 solar panels, as a step towards reducing the cathedral's carbon footprint by approximately 13 tonnes of CO2 per year. The panels are expected to generate close to 70,000 kWh annually, or roughly a third of York Minster's total energy consumption. (Footage by Ian Forsyth/Getty Images)
