Addis Ababa, Ethiopia: Saint George's Cathedral wrapped in the colors of the Ethiopain flag - Italian neoclassical style octagonal building with silver dome - built by emperor Menelik II in 1896 to celebrate the victory in the battle of Adwa against the Italians - the church was designed and built by Italian POWs, architect Sebastiano Castagna - Ethiopian flag and Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church cross with stylized ostrich eggs - Empress Zewditu was crowned at this Cathedral in 1917, and Emperor Haile Selassie was crowned there in 1930, and it became a pilgrimage destination for Rastafarians - Churchill Avenue, Arada district - Kiddus-Giyorgis / ገነተ ጽጌ መናገሻ ቅዱስ ግዮርጊስ.
