Frome, Somerset, England, UK - November, 9 2014: Seasonal concept photo showing a magical model Christmas village scene set up in the conservatory of my house, using a large table, wooden staging and white polyester fleece to create a blanket of snow. The model village recreates a detailed winter's scene in miniature and comes complete with miniature ceramic buildings and houses, realistic plastic, hand-painted people and scale figurines, tiny battery-powered fairy lights (all made by Lemax) and lots of fake snow powder. The miniatures include many homemade trees using green reindeer moss and seasonal elements made from Fimo modelling clay, as well as models by Lemax. This model Christmas village was created in a family home, for the young children to admire and enjoy - part of the family decorations and the lead up to the 'big day', the 25th December.
