The Lutzelbourg castle was a medieval fortress built in the XIth century and located on top of a hill 322 m high, in the small town of Lutzelbourg, in the Moselle department. The castle was destroyed in 1523 and remained a ruin since. It is now freely accessible and offers beautiful views of the surrounding valley. The picture shows the facade of the old chapel of the castle with parts of the destroyed fortifications.
