Dressed in retro fashions, a young Australian-Chinese man slouches on a park bench, outside a bowling club, overlooking the ocean, on a hot, sunny summer's afternoon. Its 1961 and in failing days of the White Australia policy, with new immigrants arriving in a previously exclusively Anglo-Celtic land, a young married Australian-Asian couple are waiting for a bus outside an ocean side traditionally Aussie lawn bowls club, when an young immigrant Spanish man, joins them. The young wife begins to feel a rising sense of betrayal as the degree of sexual interest rises between the men.
