The small settlement at Trident, which now only has a community hall and Church, is set in the very heart of the beautiful Strzelecki ranges in South Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. The Grand Ridge road runs through this countryside, with the nearby town of Leongatha within easy reach. Fine agricultural land through the undulating hills here is mostly dairying and cattle raising, with milk from the farms sent to Leongatha for processing into butter and dried milk products.
