In the backdrop you can see the aegean sea which has filled the crater of the volcano on which Santorini is built. One can also see Nea Kamini in the background. This is the volcano/island where you can go and feel a real active volcano. There are different holes in there from where some gas is coming out showing the signs of an active volcano.
