Badeanstalten Helgoland on a sunny Winter day - stock photo

The deck (including buildings) has a total of 3,207 m2. There are three divisions: One for women, one for men and one mixed department. It is allowed to be without swimwear in the gender-specific areas. The original Amager Helgoland opened in 1913. When Amager Strandpark was to be established in 2004 it was so worn down that it was decided to tear it down to give way to the new Amager Helgoland which was completed in 2007.
