William Mitchell Greenwood, 76, of Catchills Farm, South Wingfield, Derbyshire arrive at Derby Crown court, he and his son , Mitchell Verne Greenwood are both are alleged to have sold hundreds of AK-47 rifles, Uzi sub machine guns, pistols and rifles from a farm house shop in a quiet rural village. Jurors were expected to be sent out to consider verdicts on the father and son accused of supplying criminals with hundreds of deactivated guns and ready-made kits designed to convert the pistols, assault rifles and shotguns into deadly live weapons. 26/01/04: Greenwood along with his son Mitchell, 42, were convicted of supplying criminals with thousands of deactivated guns and ready-made kits designed to convert them back into live weapons and the expert knowledge to complete the task. 08/03/2004 William Mitchell Greenwood, 76, of Catchills Farm, South Wingfield, Derbyshire, who along with his son, Mitchell Verne Greenwood, are being sentenced Monday March 8, 2004 after they were found to have sold thousands of deactivated AK-47 rifles, Uzi sub machine guns, pistols and rifles and then supplied criminals with ready-made kits designed to convert them back into live weapons.
