(Original Caption) West Berlin, West Germany: In the last days the Berlin electricity workers were very busy putting up over hundred new modern street lamps with neon light on the Kurfurstendamm. On Monday night the lamps were lit the first time and now the "Berlin Broadway" is all ready to receive the guests who will come here for the film festival. It is the first time since years that the Kurfurstendamm, which the Berliners are so proud of, looks like in prewar times. Photo shows the Kurfurstendamm at night.
