A Ventura County Sheriff's deputy pulls wads of money from the pockets of a suspected bank robber on the Promenade in Ventura. Three males were arrested after leading authorities on a high speed chase from Thousand Oaks where the robbery occurred. CHP set out aspike strip on the northbound 101 near Highway 126 which deflated at least two of the tires on the robbers Lincoln Navigator which was their getaway vehicle. One Sheriff's vehicle that was pursuing the robbers also sustained a flat tire after running over the strip. The driver and two passengersfled from the Navigator after it came to a stop on 101 & California St. in Ventura. Two suspects were taken into custody after running across the freeway to the Promenade, the third suspect was caught as he ran across the freeway.
