Uranus
Two views of Uranus, one in natural light, and, on the right, enhanced in false color. Uranus is inclined at an extreme angle to the ecliptic plane, which in practical terms means that it seems to roll on its side from the perspective of Earth. During half of it's trip around the Sun, one or another of its poles points directly at the Sun, with the dividing line between day and night - the terminator - lying at the equator.
