The interim authorities in Kyrgyzstan stripped ousted president Kurmanbek Bakiyev of his immunity to prosecution, warning he will be arrested unless he surrenders. Thousands of supporters of Bakiyev staged a new rally backing him in his southern stronghold of Jalalabad.
