The Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) has opened oral proceedings against the president of the Parliament, in the case for allegedly splitting contracts to favor a friend when she directed the Institucio de les Lletres Catalanes (ILC). This fact may cause a possible suspension of Borras as a parliamentary given that the rules of the House provide for it in cases of opening of a final trial for crimes related to corruption.
