Akikah is one of the Shari'a in Islam, which was recommended by the Prophet Muhammad as a redeemer of the birth of a baby, in order to intercede for his parents in the Hereafter and free the baby from evil spirits. Akikah done on the seventh day from the day of his birth, accompanied by naming and hair shaving.
