Thousands immigrants from Africa have arrived in Greece the last 10 years mainly from Nigeria, Sudan, Senegal, Congo, Ghana, Guinea, Gambia, Cameroon, Somalia. The majority comes through Instabul, Turkey, in a semi-legal state. People are willing to stay in Athens, try to have a small business, send their kids to school. Usually they have a community and live in areas where Africans seem to be the plurality. Many have depart since 2015 since finding a job is hard while some are into smuggling.
