(Original Caption) Saucer Buffs Still Watch the Skies. Washington: The National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena (NICAP) is still alive and functioning. It was organized in 1956 to conduct a civilian study of the phenomena. Former aerospace writer Stuart Nixon, shown examining a photograph reputed to be a UFO but which proved to be a hoax, is full-time executive director of NICAP. He hopes for a greater degree of international cooperation in investigating UFO's, and says NICAP's mail indicates little diminution of interest in other countries.
