President Franklin D. Roosevelt makes his inaugural speech at the U.S. Capitol on January 20, 1937. Changing from his usual "My Friends" greeting to that of "Fellow Countrymen", Franklin Delano Roosevelt makes his inauguration address after taking the oath of office for his second term as President of the United States. He promised to perpetuate the "New Deal."
