Parents and educators demonstrate against Kifög

25 October 2018, Saxony-Anhalt, Magdeburg: A participant of the demonstration against the planned change of the child promotion law (Kifög) protests with a sign on which "We need pre-and post-processing time - or cancels the quality in day-care centers! Several hundred parents and educators took part in the demonstration. The Kifög is currently being debated by the Landtag. The governing coalition of CDU, SPD and Greens had struggled for a long time to reach a compromise. One of the most important elements is that parents of several children will in future only pay childcare fees for the oldest child.
