SOCIAL Sioux Chief Lone Wolf 4

A member of the Oglala Sioux tribe pays his last respects to Wild West entertainers Sioux Chief, Lone Wolf and Star, 17 month old daughter of Ghost Dog, at the Brompton Cemetery today (Thursday). The casket of Lone Wolf and Star begins the final journey to the ancestral burial ground in the shadow of the Black Hills of Dakota USA. Sioux Chief, Lone Wolf and Star where both killed while performing for a packed crowd in Earls Court during Colonel "Buffalo Bill" Cody's Wild West Show in 1892. 105 years later their bodies are to be returned to the burial ground of the Oglala Sioux Tribe, at the Pine Ridge Reservation, Wounded Knee.
