U.S. Soldiers Train In Fort Benning

FORT BENNING, GA - NOVEMBER 7: A masked member of Echo Company/1st Batallion/1st Infantry Regiment carries his weapon as he walks back to the rest of his company after practicing advanced marksmanship while wearing Nuclear, Biological and Chemical protection gear November 7, 2002 in Fort Benning, Georgia. Over 24,000 soldiers every year go through U.S. Army basic training at Fort Benning. The United Nations (U.N.) Security Council agreed on a jointly sponsored U.S. and Britain resolution November 8, 2002 requiring Iraq to show that it has abandoned its weapons of mass destruction or face "serious consequences." Iraq has seven days to accept the terms of the resolution and 30 days to reveal all chemical, biological and nuclear programs. A preliminary team of arms inspectors is expected to deploy November 18, 2002 to Baghdad, Iraq. (Photo by Barry Williams/Getty Images)
