National demonstration against racism in Brussels
March 24th, Brussels. Thousands of people gathered around the Brussels North Station to stand up against hate and aggression, against discrimination, racism and inequality. They also wish for the authorities to ensure a quality welcome for migrants entering the country, respecting human rights and based upon integration, regulation and fair social treatment, both for new arrivals and undocumented individuals. More than 120 organisations launched an appeal for a national demonstration against racism, hate, discrimination, inequality and all forms of attacks. The 120 associations vary in size and represent all regions of Belgium.
