Marine Barracks Mascot
(Original Caption) Living up to his nickname is Corporal "Chesty" Pageant, the mascot of the Marine Barracks at 8th and "I" Streets in Washington, D.C. "Chesty" seems proud of the fact that the Barracks, established in 1801, is the oldest post of the Corps. Since 1805, it has also been the residence of the Commandant of the Marine Corps.
