APR 1 1963, APR 2 1963 It's All in the Spirit of '76 Bob Cameron, left, and Gene Barnard make like Minutemen, while Mrs. Margaret Olson tends to her spinning in the showroom of Homestead House, 9629 W. Colfax Ave. Sales personnel at Homestead's two Denver and one Boulder stores are dressing like Early Americans this week to celebrate the company's ninth anniversary. The stores are giving away bottles of maple syrup and maple candy to everyone who stops in this week. Needless to say, the stores specialize in reproductions of colonial furniture, like the spinning wheel pictured. It really works, too. Credit: Denver Post (Denver Post via Getty Images)
