The Rolling Stones with Elephants
(Original Caption) 6/3/1964-Hollywood, California- The Rolling Stones haven't joined the circus, they are getting acquainted with "Big Bertha" and "Tiny Tina," the elephants which will perform on the same airing of ABC's "Hollywood Place." The five English lads, whose records have been outselling the Beatles in England, taped their first U.S. performance. L-R (standing) Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, (lower) Bill Wyman, and Brian Jones make The Beatles look well-barbered and readily admit "We're a scruffy lot."
