New York: In answer to pleas from mothers that "something be done about the stringy-looking hair of our four, six and eight year old children," Albert of Fifth Avenue has developed a revolutionary new permanent wave especially for tots. Here you see 3 1/2 year old Teresa Petello, of 74 Irving Place, New York City, getting the "works" at a press preview at the Hotel St. Moritz today. At left, Albert gives the preliminary shampoo, nice and sudsy and obviously enjoyed by Teresa. Although Teresa's nose seems to have absorbed some of the suds, there is no intention of giving it a permanent wave.
