(Original Caption) George Meany, President of the AFL-CIO is shown in his keynote speech to 1,200 delegates at the Annual Convention in Atlantic City. Meany declared that "No Deals" will be made in purging corrupt leaders from labor unions. He voiced his determination to see to it that "this tiny, very tiny minority" of corrupt leaders is ousted completely, and that "the 99 percent" of union integrity "becomes 100 percent."
