They are, left to right, Miss Mary K. Browne, Santa Monica, California, who on Thursday July 23, vanquished Mrs. Molla B. Mallory, and Miss Helen Wills, of Berkeley, California, who defeated Mrs. J.B. Jessup. In the doubles, too, the pair pictured above was triumphant, defeating Mrs. May Sutton Bundy and Miss Marion Williams.
