PW/WAX 2/23/01 BALDWIN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL MANASSAS, VA BY: MARGARET THOMAS TWP Fifth grade students culminated their lesson on famous Black Americans by dressing up in costumes and posing in a mock wax museum created in their classroom. Each student picked one historical figure, and prepared a short monologue about their subject. Participants froze into poses, and could be activated to talk about their character with the wave of a hand in front of their face.
