Funerals Held For Victims Of Alleged Drag Racing Accident

Prince was one of the four students who were killed when a speeding car ploughed into their group in Soweto on March 8, 2010. South African musician Molemo Maarohanye popularly known as 'Jub Jub' and his friend Themba Tshabalala are accused of killing four and injuring two youths after losing control of their Mini Coopers and ploughing into the group of schoolchildren during an illegal drag race in Soweto. They face four charges of murder, two of attempted murder and one each of reckless driving and drunken driving. It was announced at Protea Magistrate's Court in Soweto on March 19, 2010 that the accused had been granted bail of R10 000 each and will await trial set for April 7, 2010.
