New Zealand Government Announces Plans To Remove Hotel Quarantine Requirements For Overseas Arrivals From 2022

The New Zealand government today announced plans to wind back hotel quarantine requirements and reopen borders to foreign travellers in 2022. From January 16, fully vaccinated eligible New Zealand citizens will be able to travel from Australia and complete seven days of home isolation. Those eligible can travel into New Zealand from other countries from 13 February and from 30 April onwards the borders will open to allow all fully vaccinated foreign travellers to come to New Zealand.
