(Original Caption) Despite Yankee catcher Yogi Berra's attempt to throw the ball into the center field bleachers, New York second baseman Gerry Coleman goes skyward to pull down the toss a s Philadelphia Athletics third baseman Jim Finigan prepares to slide into second base in the sixth inning. Coleman not only descended with ball in glove pocket, but slapped the ball on the surprised Finigan to boot, on the A's attempt to steal. The Yanks went on to win this game and later completed a sweep of the Yankee Stadium, August 12th double header, by scores of 5-4 and 7-1.
