Paul Bremer March 23,2004 to thank them in in Najaf, Iraq. The unit fought off an small arms and rpg attack on a CPA convoy recently between Hilla and Najaf. Bremer participated in a series of press events today designed to mark the beginning of the 100 Day countdown to the handover of power back to Iraqis scheduled for June 30, 2004.
