7th September 1945: An Allied correspondent stands in the rubble, looking towards the ruins of the Hiroshima Prefectural Industrial Promotion Hall after the 6th August atom bomb attack on Hiroshima, Japan. The building, also known as the Genbaku Dome, is now the centrepiece of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.
