Paul Bryant Embracing Gene Stallings

(Original Caption) Alabama coach Paul "Bear" Bryant attempts to pick up Aggie coach Gene Stallings and carry him off the field after the Aggies had beaten the Crimson Tide 20-16 in the Cotton Bowl. Stallings, in his third year at Texas A&M, played for Bryant at Aggie Land when Bryant was coaching the Aggies and later served as an assistant coach at Alabama for Bryant before taking the Texas A&M post. It was the first time Bryant had met one of his former assistants in a Bowl Game.
