CONMEBOL Moves Libertadores Final Match To Lima Due to Social Unrest In Chile

As a result of the protests that started on October 18, Chile decided to withdraw from the final of Copa CONMEBOL Libertadores scheduled for November 23. CONMEBOL decided to move the first ever single final of this tournament to Lima. Chile also has to step down of the organization of COP25 and APEC Forum. Demonstrators are demanding improvements in health care, the pension system, public education, social mobility and are against the privatization of water services, the rise in public transport fares and government corruption.
