i just adopted him from the german shorthaired pointer rescue. when i got him, he was a malnourished stray about 1-year old, who seems to have been raised by wolves. he's incredibly athletic and strong, energetic and too dang smart, but he came with almost every bad habit in the book. of course, he eventually ate the book. i've always gotten dogs as little pups, so teaching, and unteaching, this beastie boy has been a challenge. but he's very sweet and thrives on affection (or attention) and he's behaving better day by day. ok...month by month.
