Strathisla Distillery, Scotland. - stock photo

Keith, United Kingdom - January 13, 2015: Strathisla distillery in Keith in the Moray District of Scotland. It is the oldest working distillery in the Speyside region of the Highlands, dating from 1786, and features twin pagoda topped drying kilns set in a cobbled courtyard. Its present owners, Chivas Brothers, acquired the distillery in 1951 for the sum of 71,000 pounds after the previous owner was convicted of tax evasion. Most of its output goes into blended whiskies rather than single malts.
