Continuing 'My Magic Brush' series. Looks like our late spring has decided to catch up in the month of May and is developing quite rapidly. Blooms, new green leaves are coming in abundance, especially after our rich rainy phases - amazing to see this transformation of nature in such a short period of time. And this is why I particularly like transition seasons like Spring and Autumn. We do have many marvelous species of Magnolia in the city and this one I found in Allen Gardens. I also found that little birds were enjoying these particular blossoms too and sang a cheerful melody together. I wonder how many birds you can see in the picture? By the way, do you know that Magnolia is an ancient genus? They say it has evolved before bees appeared, so the flowers developed to encourage pollination by beetles - Fascinating!
