Volunteers from the 'Fédération Française de Randonnée Pédestre' (FFRP - French Federation of Pedestrian Hiking) mark the path of the GR2013 hiking route with red and yellow paint, in Marseille, on January 22, 2013. The GR2013 hiking route was established as part of the "Marseille-Provence European Capital of Culture 2013" program, which sees Marseille host a variety of cultural activities throughout the year. The GR2013 path is 360kms long and crosses through both urban and natural areas, forming an infinity symbol and loop. The GR2013 will be ready and open to the public as of March 22.
