Wright is a Americorps NCCC member and Wright is a parent of a child at the Inspired Teaching Demonstration Public Charter School. In observation of Sept 11, a day of service will be performed nationwide by millions of people. A bill was passed in 2009 to officially recognize Sept 11 as a National Day of Service and Remembrance. At the Inspired Teaching Demonstration Public Charter School in NE Washington, DC Volunteers worked to install a new playground.
