Waddesdon Manor Prepares For Christmas
AYLESBURY, ENGLAND - NOVEMBER 16: The art installation by Bruce Munro entitled 'Blue Moon on a Platter', made up of thousands of used CDs, forms part of the Christmas decorations at Waddesdon Manor on November 16, 2012 in Aylesbury, England. The piece, which is located on the banks of Waddesdon’s amphitheatre, measures 28 meters across and in the centre a 1.5m ‘Moon’ of optic fibres glows with blue light. The East Wing and Bachelor's Wing of Waddesdon Manor have been elaborately decorated for Christmas in the theme of English traditions and literature. The light-artist Bruce Munro has also created two installations in the grounds of the manor. The Christmas decorations at Waddesdon Manor are open to the general public until January 1, 2013.
