Supporters of the Raila Odinga led CORD alliance display a live round casing and a bloodied shirt on March 16, 2013, outside Kenya's supreme court building, that belonged to one of them who was injured by a tear gas canister fired by police at youth who had gathred to express support for a petition challenging the outcome of ken ya's general election. Kenya's outgoing Prime Minister Raila Odinga, who was narrowly defeated in presidential polls by Uhuru Kenyatta, filed a formal challenge Saturday against the result. Officials from Odinga's Coalition for Reform and Democracy (CORD) filed the suit at the Supreme Court after Odinga spoke to supporters and journalists in front of his offices.
